Hello! We are Fanny and Bronwen—designers, mothers, and self-proclaimed kidswear obsessives based in London. At The Kids Design Consultancy, we combine high-level industry expertise with real-world parenting insight to help emerging startups and established fashion labels build beautiful, ethical, and commercially successful children's collections.
Our story began at University of the Arts London (UAL), where we met while studying for a Master’s degree in Textiles. Bound by a shared passion for thoughtful design and responsible manufacturing, we joined forces to found Petite Albion, an ethical kidswear label that went on to win a host of industry awards and gain stockists across the globe.
While our career paths eventually expanded into designing for major high street brands, independent accessories labels, and social enterprises, our partnership evolved into a lifelong friendship. After both starting families, we realised there was a pressing need in the market for specialised design support that prioritised both commercial appeal and planet-friendly practices. We came together to create The Kids Design Consultancy—pooling our collective experiences, technical skills, and deep love for childrenswear under one roof.
